Going All In

All in for Coaching

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of coaching one of my athletes at the CrossFit Games. (Did you know that in order to take a break from staring at screens all day, I coach strength + conditioning 2 days a week?) This event is kinda like the Olympics of CrossFit. It was a huge deal that my 60 year old athlete was in the top 20 in the world for her division – women ages 60-64. I was honored to go with her + coach her through eight events over three days.

During my time in Birmingham, I witnessed incredible perseverance, strength, and determination from every athlete that competed. I left inspired, without a voice from all the cheering I did, and in awe of what humans are capable of… especially when ditching age as an excuse.

One of my coaching idols (the human that I named my dog Mackay after) summed me up in a few powerful words over Labor Day weekend: “You’re a good coach, you’re passionate, and you go all in.”

“You go all in” isn’t just my view on coaching athletes, it’s how I live my life.

All in for Life

Though, of course, going all in means different things in the different parts of my life. It might mean stretching what my husband + I are comfortable with by taking in three foster puppies (Tab, Surge + Fresca, who are all now adopted!). It’s also representative of taking “the leap” that us self-employed individuals take when it’s time to rely on ourselves for income. I went “all in” 13 years ago + am so grateful that I did. And of course, being “all in” can mean going above + beyond for my WordPress hosting clients by pointing out ways to grow their clientele with a call to action, menu improvement, site speed work or new tool that I’ve discovered.

You want, and deserve, a coach, partner, or website coder that goes all in. You know that this doesn’t mean I don’t have boundaries, but it does mean that I care fully + wholeheartedly. That’s why I’ve purposely kept tiny blue orange small. That way I have the bandwidth to truly go all in for the clients I have. And those that have become friends along the way.

All in for You

So, if you’re ready to go all in for your business or your website, I’m ready to go all in with you.
