Privacy Policy

By visiting and using this site, you agree that your use of our site is governed by this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy at any time, in which case we’ll post the changes to this Privacy Policy on this web page and update the Effective Date to reflect the date that the changes were made.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We only collect data and contact individuals who specifically request that we do so — whether by signing up for our newsletters or by reaching out through our contact forms.

Anyone who signs up for our newsletters can submit their name (or nickname), email address and services that they are specifically interested in. This information is stored on our site and within MailChimp. All of this information is provided to us by you.

The information requested in our contact form is similar to the newsletter fields, but also includes details like budget, direct contact information like phone number, skype or mailing address. This information is stored on our site. All of this information is provided to us by you.

Cookies

We use a standard feature found in browser software (like Chrome, Safari and Firefox) called a “cookie” to enhance your experience with our site. Cookies are small files that your web browser places on your hard drive for record-keeping purposes. By showing how and when visitors use the site, cookies help us identify how many unique users visit us, and track user trends and patterns.

We use cookies from:

  • WordPress
  • Google Analytics
  • Facebook
  • Gravity Forms

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data

If you fill out a form (to sign up for our newsletter or contact us), the content and its metadata are retained indefinitely. If you do not want your information to be stored on our site after signing up or sending a contact request, you can email contact@tinyblueorange.com and we will delete your information from our site (and MailChimp, if desired.)

You can also unsubscribe from our newsletters via MailChimp in any of the emails we send.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

How we protect your data

This site is secured with an SSL to keep your data safe. We also scan the site daily for any malware or viruses to ensure they are not housed on our server.
