Big on handling things.

You know that never-ending list of website stuff hanging over your head?

  • Broken plugins
  • Hosting you don’t like, like at all
  • Missing contact form emails
  • Mobile layout issues
  • Pages that almost work
  • Security updates you forgot existed

At tiny blue orange, we build, maintain, host + support WordPress websites for coaches, creatives + humans doing meaningful work online. We’re happy to jump in at any stage, from brand new builds to websites with a little history.

We’re the people you call when you’re tired of piecing things together yourself or chasing down five different freelancers just to update a button.

Alison Monday, the owner of tiny blue orange with blue and orange hair

Heavily resisting the millennial peace sign urge

I’m the blue-haired, tattooed WordPress nerd (with a secret) that created tiny blue orange in 2007.

I’ve been building sites for nearly two decades, which means I’ve survived:

  • table layouts
  • Internet Explorer
  • Flash websites
  • the 2021 GoDaddy data breach
  • approximately 37 “the next big thing” platforms
  • AI site builders

…and WordPress is still home to me.

That secret I mentioned? I’m not just a developer. Out of high school, I got a Graphic Design degree before falling in love with code. Which means I work really well with your designer + your brand. I understand both sides of website building:

It might be why many clients call me their unicorn. I code without sacrificing design or brand personality.

Honestly? I just think websites should look good and work properly. Apparently that’s rare. *shrug*

I built tiny blue orange with the idea that customer support shouldn’t suck. The name includes complementary colors because we complement the businesses that we work with.

You shouldn’t have to chase anyone down for help. Not because I work 24/7 (I don’t) but because your site is easy to work in, you get video tutorials for what’s important to you + you have a tiny team of support.

You shouldn’t feel dumb asking questions. Because why would you know what different website languages are or how to speak them?

Speaking of… you definitely shouldn’t need AI to decipher emails from your web person.

We like to keep things human around here, which means:

a shelf with a TINYBLU Wisconsin license plate, orange candle and orange tennis ball
  • straightforward communication
  • collaborative problem-solving
  • proactive support
  • handling tech headaches before they become emergencies

We like long-term client relationships, flexible systems + websites that work for your business instead of becoming another full-time job to manage.

  • your website should be easy for you to use
  • good design starts with strategy, not decoration
  • security + maintenance matter more than trendy hacks
  • SEO panic helps nobody
  • websites should evolve with your business
  • there’s no prize for doing everything yourself

Most of all?

We believe wellness business owners deserve reliable tech support from humans who actually give a shit.

Our team consists of Alison, Heather + the office dogs. Sometimes there are a few extra because we foster puppies who need forever homes.

Heather is our Client Care Manager. She makes sure all tasks are scheduled, as well as checking in with clients + timelines.

Unfortunately the dogs don’t help much, but they do keep us safe from the dangers outside. (Squirrels, delivery drivers + leaves blowing by.)

With a tiny team, you get personalized support from your go-to WordPress person who knows your site inside + out.

We’re small on purpose (ahem, that’s where tiny in tiny blue orange came from).

Whether you need hosting, support, development, a new build or someone to finally untangle the weird tech mess keeping your site duct-taped together — we’re here.

Bring the messy notes + even messier site dashboard.

Bring the “I don’t know if this is even possible” vision.

Bring the problems your website keeps creating for your business.

We’ll handle it.

“Alison took asked thoughtful questions + brought ideas that genuinely improved the final result.

She was responsive, organized, and consistently met timelines, which made everything feel stress-free. She was also incredibly easy to collaborate with, especially during the editing stage, where her flexibility and attention to detail really stood out.”
